Transience delineates each intricate layer of Honey Drips, the debut EP by France based song writer Penelope Antena and beatmaker Deheb. On their debut for Inner Oceans Records, you can find this new duo tandem-wavering in a liminal space linked by late-nights and early mornings, floating among shades of neo-soul, dream-pop and something altogether more ethereal. This furtively sequenced collection of atmospheres, tones and properties belie an unyielding philosophy.

Voices filter in and out, time signatures oscillate like a string-section. Set-moods are meant for design boards. The flow of energy is a constant, transferred amongst disparate elements to belie a cohesive artifact of impermanence. There is no apparent disposition, only a central ideal: Inertia is to be avoided at all costs.
